1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Shielded by Grace mobile application and related services (the "Service"), provided by One Purpose Production LLC, a Kansas limited liability company ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Shielded by Grace Is — and What It Is Not

Shielded by Grace is an interrupter and companion for people working to recover from pornography use. The app is designed to:

• Interrupt moments of temptation by playing encouragement videos from people you trust before harmful content can fully load or capture your attention
• Connect you with an accountability partner who can be reached quickly during a panic event, including via a bridged phone call
• Track your daily check-ins and streak history
• Send you proactive encouragement and check-ins based on patterns and milestones

Shielded by Grace is a tool, not a treatment. It is not a medical device, not a substitute for professional therapy or counseling, not a substitute for medical care, and not a guarantee of recovery. Recovery from any compulsive behavior typically requires a combination of personal commitment, community, and where appropriate, professional support. If you are struggling, we strongly encourage you to seek help from a licensed therapist, counselor, doctor, or pastoral care provider.

Shielded by Grace is not an unbreakable blocker. Mobile operating systems do not allow third-party apps to enforce true content blocks against a user's will. The app uses interruption, accountability, partner visibility, and tampering alerts to help you keep your commitment — but a user determined to bypass the app can do so. The product is built around honesty about that fact, not around the illusion of a wall that cannot be climbed.

3. Account Requirements

To use Shielded by Grace, you must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Provide accurate account information
• Set up at least one accountability partner during onboarding — this is a hard requirement, not optional. The Service is designed around partner accountability and will not function without one.
• Obtain consent from any person you invite as a partner (your invite SMS includes consent language; the partner must reply YES to be activated).

You are responsible for keeping your password and device secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate another person, or invite someone as a partner without their consent
• Upload videos containing illegal content, content depicting minors, harassment, or content that violates another person's rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service
• Use the Service to deceive, surveil, or coerce another person against their will — the partner role is intended to be a freely chosen, mutually agreed-upon relationship of support, not a tool of control

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Subscription, Pricing, and Billing

Shielded by Grace is offered on a subscription basis. Current pricing, free-trial terms (if any), and renewal frequency are displayed inside the app at the time of purchase — see the in-app subscription screen for the rates that apply to you. By subscribing, you agree to those rates.

Billing is handled through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and is subject to their respective billing and refund terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel through your App Store or Google Play account before the renewal date. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we cannot process refunds directly for App Store or Google Play purchases.

Until paid plans are activated, the Service is provided free of charge. We may change pricing at any time with notice; price changes take effect at the start of your next billing period and never retroactively.

6. User Content

You retain all rights to videos, check-ins, and other content you create in the app. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and display it within the Service for the purpose of operating the app on your behalf and your partner's behalf. We do not use your content for marketing, advertising, or AI training.

You are solely responsible for the content you upload, including obtaining consent from anyone appearing in your videos.

7. Limitation of Liability

Read this section carefully.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will prevent any specific behavior, relapse, or harm. Tampering detection alerts are described as firing "within minutes," not instantly — carrier delays, OS background restrictions, and offline periods can extend that window.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, One Purpose Production LLC, its members, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including, but not limited to, damages for emotional distress, lost profits, lost data, relapse, relationship harm, or any other loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

In no event will our total cumulative liability to you exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Recovery is your responsibility. Shielded by Grace supports you, but it cannot replace personal effort, community, or professional care. Use of the Service is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or pastoral treatment. If you need help, please seek a qualified professional.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless One Purpose Production LLC from any claims arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights (including any partner you invited without proper consent).

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the in-app settings or by emailing privacy@shieldedbygrace.com. Deletion removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if continued operation poses a risk to other users or to us. Where reasonably possible, we will give you notice and an opportunity to export your data first.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and any disputes you have with us) survive termination of these Terms.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved by good-faith negotiation will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kansas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer-protection laws, those laws may grant you additional rights that override this section.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in-app and by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept a change, you may delete your account.

12. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
